Information Collection and Use

We only have access to/collect personally identifiable information or similar personal information that you voluntarily give us, including, without limitation: (i) in connection with an application for our Boost Bonus sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) offered on the Website, or (ii) via the Website’s contact page, grant database, email, text message, or other direct contact from you.  The Company is the sole owner of the information collected by or through the Website.

During an application for our Sweepstakes, applicants are required to provide us certain types or categories of information regarding themselves, as applicable, including, but not limited to:

  • name
  • address
  • email address

In contacting us through the Website’s contact page, you are required to provide us with your name and email address and also may provide a phone number or other personal information. You, not the Company, are solely responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide us.

In addition to the above personal information, we also may obtain information about you, your computer or mobile device, IP address, access dates and times, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, web browser, computer or device platform, related software and settings, browsing actions and patterns, and your use of the Website through the use of "cookies" and clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs) in order to assess how users access and use the Website. This data is used for various internal purposes, including troubleshooting, and improving the site's functionality.

Cookies help you personalize your online experience.  A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web server.  Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.  One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time.  You have the ability to accept or decline cookies.  Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer.  If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features from the Website.

Clear gifs help us better manage what content is effective.  Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of web users.  In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on web pages or in emails and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence.  We use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients.  This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.  We tie the information gathered by clear gifs in emails to our users' personal information.

We may use your information, including your personally identifiable information, to:

  • Provide products and services requested by you;
  • Provide customer support, including responding to your requests and questions and resolving any issues you may have;
  • Provide you information or reminders regarding the Sweepstakes;
  • Alert you to other sweepstakes opportunities;
  • Allow you to access tools and resources;
  • Verify the information you provide to us;
  • Communicate directly with you in the future, including, without limitation, by sending you emails containing information or announcements about our Website, blog or other content, or information about promotions, products and services that may be of interest to you, including third-party promotions, products and services;
  • Inform you of changes to this Privacy Policy;
  • Perform research and analysis to develop and improve our Website and products, enhance or customize our email or text messaging services, or to develop new services and products;
  • Understand and anticipate your use of or interest in our products, services, and content, and the products, services, and content of others;
  • Manage our business and operations; and
  • Fulfill any other purpose for which you give your consent.

If you do not want to receive email messages from us, you will be given the option to opt out in connection with your submission for a Sweepstakes and in every email SavingsBoost.com sends. You may also email us directly at support@SavingsBoost.com.
